About this tool

About

This free UTM builder creates campaign tracking URLs for Google Analytics and other tools. Add source, medium, campaign, and optional term or content tags—all in your browser, with no signup.

How it works

Paste a destination URL, fill the UTM fields (or tap a channel preset for source and medium), and watch the tagged link update live. Turn on Normalize to lowercase values and replace spaces with hyphens. Copy the result; recent copies stay in local history on this device.

Steps

  1. Enter the full destination URL (https recommended).
  2. Pick a channel preset or type utm_source and utm_medium.
  3. Add utm_campaign (required). Optionally add term and content.
  4. Copy the tagged URL. Use History to reuse past links on this device.

Frequently asked questions

What are UTM parameters?

UTM tags are query parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and optional utm_term / utm_content) that help analytics tools attribute traffic to a campaign.

Which fields are required?

A valid http(s) destination plus utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign. Term and content are optional.

Is this UTM builder free?

Yes. It is free to use with no signup. Build and copy as many campaign links as you need.

Does my URL leave my device?

No. Building and history run in your browser. Utility Tools does not upload your campaign URLs.

Will existing query parameters be kept?

Yes. Non-UTM query keys and the URL hash stay. Any existing utm_* values are replaced by what you enter in the form.

Privacy: Form values and history stay in this browser. Nothing is sent to Utility Tools servers. Anyone you share a tagged link with can see the UTM values in the URL.
