This Stripe fee calculator estimates how much Stripe charges on a payment and what you keep (net payout). It uses published US Standard rates such as 2.9% + $0.30 for online cards, plus options for international cards, currency conversion, ACH, and a reverse mode so you know what to charge to net a target amount.
How it works
Choose a mode: charge to net (forward), desired net to charge (reverse), or a monthly volume estimate. Pick cards, ACH, or a custom rate. For cards you can turn on extras like international cards or currency conversion. Results update as you type. These are estimates only—not a bill from Stripe.
Steps
- Pick a mode: Charge → net, Net → charge, or Monthly.
- Enter the dollar amount (and monthly transaction count if you use Monthly).
- Choose Online cards, ACH Direct Debit, or Custom rate.
- For cards, turn on international, currency conversion, or manual entry if they apply.
- Read the fee, net payout, effective rate, and line breakdown on the right.
- Use Copy if you want a plain-text summary for notes or an invoice.
